You operate the Reader with the keyboard. You move through the document and open the tools by key. You select text and act on it from the keyboard.

OpenSlate gives clear labels for the screen reader. A screen reader announces the tools and controls. You hear where you are in the document.

OpenSlate offers 4 themes. The themes are light, sepia, dark, and high-contrast for OLED. You choose the one that reads best for you.
High contrast
The high-contrast theme raises the contrast for easier reading. OpenSlate aims for WCAG AA contrast. A switcher sits in the account menu.
