Share a slate with a cohort

Share a single slate with a whole cohort. Each student works on a private overlay while you read a single dashboard.

Share a single slate

You share a slate to a cohort by invite link or a class code. Each member joins with a role. The roles are viewer, commenter, and editor.

A private overlay per student

Each student works on a private overlay of the slate. Your artifacts act as a read-only seed. A student's edit forks a private copy.

The cohort dashboard

You read a single cohort dashboard for the group. It shows each student's concept strength, questions, and artifacts. You find who needs help.

Roles on the server

The server enforces every role. A viewer reads the slate. A commenter adds comments. An editor changes the shared slate.

Private data per member

Each member reaches only their own overlay and library. OpenSlate keeps this separation with RLS. Uploaded documents stay private.
