Your app sends the document and a selected span. The Tutor API returns an answer about that text. The answer uses only the open document.
Every answer has a citation
The AI tutor cites the exact block it used. A citation points to a place in the document, for example section 12.4, equation 3. Your app can link the reader to that block.

The API streams the answer as it writes. The first tokens arrive in about 2 seconds. Your users see progress right away.
Safe by design
