Privacy
OpenSlate keeps your documents private. This page explains what OpenSlate stores and how it protects your data.
Your documents are private
You upload documents to your own library. Each user has a private library. OpenSlate keeps your uploaded documents private.
OpenSlate does not train on your content
OpenSlate does not train on your content. OpenSlate uses your documents only to run the service for you. The AI tutor treats document text as data.
RLS isolates your data
OpenSlate uses row-level security (RLS) in the database. A user reaches only their own data. RLS isolates each user's documents, artifacts, and progress.
How OpenSlate protects your data
OpenSlate runs all model calls on the server. OpenSlate keeps no secret keys in the browser. Generated artifacts render only in a sandboxed iframe.
What OpenSlate stores
OpenSlate stores your documents, artifacts, and progress across sessions. OpenSlate keeps this data available when you return. OpenSlate saves your theme choice for you.
