The Reader turns a document into a live surface
The Reader shows a document as one continuous scroll. A student selects any text and acts on it in place.
One continuous scroll
The Reader shows all pages in one scroll. It mounts each page as the page nears the view. Long documents stay fast.
Freeform text selection
Drag to select any span of text. A selection can stay inside one block. A selection can cross several blocks.
Act in place
A floating bubble appears at your selection. The bubble shows the 5 tools. You pick a tool and stay on the page.
The 5 tools
The 5 tools are Ask, Visualize, Simulate, Practice, and Highlight. Each tool works on the text you select. Each result appears next to its source.
Typed blocks
OpenSlate reads each part of the document as a typed block. Prose, figures, and equations each get a type. This lets every tool work on the right content.
Your work stays
OpenSlate saves your highlights and artifacts. They reload with the document. You continue your work across sessions.
