The Classroom shows what the class understands
The Classroom is the teacher console. It shows what the class understands.
Live confusion heat-map
OpenSlate clusters the class's questions into a heat-map. The heat-map updates in real time. You see the topics that the class finds hard.
Teacher-gated answers
A student asks a question about the page. You make the question clear. You approve the answer before the class sees it.
Cohort dashboard
The cohort dashboard lists every student. You see concept strength, questions, and artifacts. You find who needs help.
Shared slates
You share a slate to a cohort. You send an invite link or a class code. Students join and start reading.
Roles you control
Each member has a role. The roles are viewer, commenter, and editor. The server enforces each role.
Private student overlays
OpenSlate seeds each student with your artifacts as a read-only start. A student's edit forks a private copy. Each student keeps a private overlay.
