How OpenSlate protects your data
OpenSlate protects your documents, artifacts, and progress. This page explains how.
Isolation for each user
Each user reaches only their own data. OpenSlate enforces this with row-level security (RLS). Your documents and progress stay private.
Sandboxed artifacts
OpenSlate generates an interactive artifact from a block. Each artifact renders only in a sandboxed iframe. The sandbox keeps the generated code contained.
Keys stay on the server
OpenSlate keeps no secret keys in the browser. The server stores every provider key. All model calls run on the server.
The AI tutor treats text as data
The AI tutor answers from the open document. It treats the document text as data. It does not follow instructions hidden inside the document.
Your content stays private
OpenSlate does not train on user content. Uploaded documents stay private. OpenSlate keeps your data across sessions.
